ORTANA
Brilliantly designed and textured in elegant and subtle colour tones
Ortana’s accentuated textures and complementing colour combinations create appealing single and double-sided walls, driveway borders, embankments and more. Ortana units are available pre-split for fast, economical construction and contains hand notches for easy lifting and placement.
Color samples contained in this website should be used as a guide. Colors should always be chosen and selected from actual samples. Contact your local Dealer or Oaks Representative for samples and color availability in your area.
Any walls exceeding the recommended building heights will require engineering, please contact Oaks sales representative
Ortana Steps
1. Create steps with the Standard units.
2. Step riser is 150mm (6”); tread is 300mm (11.81”).
3. Distribute cut pieces evenly across width of each step.
4. More steps could be added (using the same pattern) by
increasing dimensions at the bottom in both directions.
5. Backfill with compacted aggregate as each course is added.
6. Adhere each Coping unit to previous layer using concrete adhesive.
7. It may be necessary to remove a portion of each unit’s tongue to overlap properly at corner locations.
8. Create step tread using either 1’ or 2’ Coping unit.
9. Handrails may be required for certain style steps.
